Louisiana emails her friend from Greece (by way of Finland) after she wonders if she got back from her African safari yet. Sari and her new husband, Nikolas, have been on an African safari to Kenya and Tanzania.

Dear Sari (and Nikolas!)~
Hai, or as you are probably saying right now, Jambo! Habari gani?? M'zuri sana, asante sana!
I say that in case you aren't back from Africa yet. I certainly pray and hope that you are having the time of your lives; I really am happy that you are getting to travel like this! I wouldn't MIND going to Kenya or Tanzania (I would love to see the Maasai culture or see the animals in their wild habitat, myself!), but I don't think I could handle some of the food they eat there or handle all the BUGS!!
I have been well, but I am getting ready to leave for the CMA Music Festival in about a few hours, so we and the kids (as well as my hubby) won't be home for a few days. We will be going to all kinds of country music concerts and meeting some of the country music entertainers (and hopefully snag an autograph or two! :) ). We have gone just about every year, and we have really enjoyed ourselves! We also are in the beginning stages of adopting a child (#53!!) into our family, a little eight-year-old girl from Romania named Janica Kryzstina (she has spina bifida). We are also going to be busy after Johnny has his tests at the hospital and Ronee' has her hip replacement surgery next week. So things are happening at a frenetic pace! (Keep Johnny and Ronee' in your prayers; they--and us--would really appreciate it!)
I hope you and Nikolas have been well. I really enjoyed seeing you both when we came to Greece last month for your wedding! Again, Bill and I both want to thank you for everything and for inviting us! We both had a really nice time, and it was a perfect way to get away from the children!! LOL I don't know what next year holds, in terms of travel, but sometime in the spring, we are taking the entire family on a 10-day cruise to Alaska. We will be going with Carnival Cruiselines, and we are all looking forward to it. This will be the first cruise for most of the children, but for Bill, Johnny, Ronee', and myself, the old "cruise hounds", this will be our second cruise! :) Even little Janica, if she ends up being our daughter, will go with us. So Carnival Cruises will never be the same once we Sanduskys go to sea with them! LOL (The kids don't know about the cruise to Alaska yet, and I am NOT telling them until maybe a week before! :) Boy, will THEY be surprised!! LOL And don't you or Nikolas be telling any of my computer buddies anything about our Alaskan cruise next year or we are going to be HACKED!!! LOL)
How has the weather been there in Greece and also there in Kenya/Tanzania? I hope the weather has been delightful! Here, we have had a threat for rain the last week or so, and frankly, I am MORE than ready for the "Wet stuff" to move on OUT of here!! I am ready for some DRIER weather and some SUNSHINE!!
You will have to tell me all about your African safari next time you write; I am DYING to hear all the juicy details!
