I know you will never understand why thing are the way they have turned out. I don't understand either. It breaks my heart to be separated from you. It hurts Susie to be away from you too. She cries every night because her heart is broken. I wish that you would try to put yourself in her shoes and see things the way she does. Being the oldest is not all it is cut out to be. She feels like everything is her fault. Being older than both of you makes her feel like she should have been able to keep you together. Instead she was stuck in the hospital and was not able to go with you to California.
I need to apoligize too. If I had done what Mamas are supposed to then we would not be in the situation we are. I failed you as a mama.
I wish you would not be so angry. You are hurting yourself more than anything else. I know you don't understand, no one does but we have no choice but to make the best of the situation we have been handed. We will all get through this, and come out better. Remember, we will be a family again sooner. I might be joining you sooner than expected. The doctor said today they might move me to a hospital in California. What do you think about that. We could be together at least some of the time that way, and Susie could stay where you are too!
