We baby boomers are not what we once were or is it just me
The guy he would get would absolutely be perfect for the job. My brother is not one to waste a dollar, or to pay too much for a service. We both have gone back to stores where we have made a purchase even if it meant traveling 5 miles or more to collect 97 cents or less. After all it's the principle that counts most, right? (Ok we're cheap)
So the man he would choose for the job would be experienced, (translation: 65 to 70 years old, on a fixed income supplemented by doing this hit man thing on the side. This guy would use BB's to take his victims out, instead of bullets, (cheaper) considering my age, if I got hit by a BB on the ankle and tried to balance on one leg to see what just hit me, I would no doubt fall over on something sharp and thus his mission would be accomplished! Of course, I would have to be close enough for the guy to get a good shot, due to his failing eyesight. And of course, he would want me to be still long enough, so that he could hit me. He might try to make me promise not to move, so he could shoot me. Then he would have to be sure to place me near the rake so that when I hit the ground, I'd fall on it. Of course I could run, but if he stood still and waited ... he could walk the five feet I'd managed to run and while I was resting, he could shoot me anyway. Then again if I waited and stalled him for 5 minutes, he'd have to go to the men's room. Then I could escape for another five feet. But then again, he could try to be really smart and get the drop on me in the men's room in the first place. But if I waited five minutes, I'd have to go to the men's room, too. Now if I turned on the nearest faucet first, I'd be one up on him. And so it goes. We are definitely not the young lions we used to be, are we?
