Hi Tinka,
I Live!
I actually lost my pc and most of my work to a house fire and haven't written much in ages but I am inspired again and came here hoping the sight might have backup copies of my old work, still waiting to hear from them.
Great to see one of my all time favourites is still going strong.
See? I'm here too, Tinka...I've been so busy this summer, and also spending a lot of time over at Myspace. You know that I'll be back though, even if it takes me a while, to see what my S. African friend is doing! My birthday is November 1st! Hope life finds you well!
I'm here Hon, though in what comodity half the time I am not sure lol, and I have days when I just don't get to read, and then I read heaps. It's always better in winter for me, coz our summers, awwww, you gotta live here to appreciate the fact that, South Australia is the hottest climate, next to the desert lands, with the biggest hole in the ozone layer, which means....I just cant think much of the time in the heat lol, and most of my writes are nonsense in the heat.
We get, no bull, 43c here. AND being in the desert climate, we get the other extreme in winter, like below 0 some nights, and dry cold dead days, with a bit of rain to break it up, soooo Ch'erie gets to catch up with everyone, as her blood coagulates in the cold, and is particulary lazy, except on reasonable days hehe.
Hows that for an excuse m888888te
13-5-61, now that's not to be read backwards as the Americans write, it is forwards as in day/month/year.
We are strange here, we do it about face LOL.
Among other things, yes strange ppl downunder, come visit sometime, in February, it'ssss ssssssooooo hhhhhhot your brain melts.
Thats enuff outa me. Nite
Love Ch'erie
Still here, luv...wishing I could have more time to post reviews of all my AD pals' works...Still loving your poetry and wishing you BIG HUGE CONGRATS on your new book! Birthday Oct. 1. HUGS!
Julie
Gone, Tinks, but still behind the scenes. It's my birthday today, 12/18. I do feel half-dead of late-pupa in a cocoon of my own making. Changing into a butterfly? One can hope. I wait for spring...
I'm still here, just don't have as much time to chat and review. November 12, 1980 for my birthdate.
Thanks for thinking of me!

I'm sorry I'm not reviewing enough. Been real busy lately. I swear I'm paying attention, but I have a short attention span. My brain has been half dead for years. Oh yeah, July 11, 1954.
You know that I do my magic act sometimes and disappear for awhile. ;) My birthdate is Feb. 14, 1959, all yr long I thought that I was 45 but my friend Cindy straightened me out, I am 46. My email is jannycaldwell@comcast.net
I could say a lot of different things, but I've been busy (and neglectful) You are a friend worth keeping and one I should stop by and say "hi" more often to. Anyway, I'm a Christmas Eve baby - 1957.
On August 3rd of 1954 I was hatched,
From my bassinet I was snatched,
Grew up in a hut on the beach that was thatched,
Seems to my parents I was altogether mismatched...Ed

"Tinka"? Teen-kuh? Hmmmnn..., I know that name from someplace. No, really, I do. Don't tell me, I know this! Gimme a minute... It's on the tip of my tongue --- no, waitaminnit, that's just lint. Nuts!
<smile!>
Hello, my dear, I'm still around. I just don't get as much opportunity to post these days as I used to or as I would like -- "real life" and all that, dontcha know. I still occasionally drop by to read an odd poem or a story or two. Perhaps I should take a bit more time out to comment... Still, it was really wonderful to see my name amongst your list of AuthorsDen "Old-timers". Glad to know you're still out there defending the faith (as it were, you know, to coin a phrase, metaphorically-speaking, er, ah, uhm, I'll quit while I'm ahead.)
And, oh yeah, I was born on the 33rd day of the year in the Gregorian Calendar, also known as "Candlemas" on the Wiccan calendar...

I'm still around too:)...just not writing anything. I pop in now and then to read my favorites...like you!! Your writing has blossomed and I love what I see!!
January 1st.
Tinker, This should have been news or an article or something. Anyway, you know I's still here though I don't read and comment on every poem like you, oh faithful one.
Hello Tinka--
Thank you for reaching out in the spirit of community and freindship. This particular author is still very much alive though tends to often feel buried these days under the dual pressures of completing a long overdue novel and balancing the demands of a not-so-typical life:-)I often read as much work as I can of various AD writers but am not always able to stop long enough to comment. Since I'm here at the moment, however, A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ON WINNING the recent AD contest. Well done indeed!
