Dear Eddie!~
I am so glad that Aurora's heart is doing better; that must have been terrifying to see the paramedics trying to help her! I am well, and my kids are too. In fact, it has been a wonderful several days, nothing major going on with their health, but I am waiting for the shoe to drop!
I just heard from my friend in Arizona, Wyndi Storm Piestala, and she is depressed. Her only child is now on dialysis (Karla has diabetes), and she is scared that she is going to lose her. Please keep Wyndi and Karla in your prayers; they both can really use them now!!
The weather here is better today, it is cooler, and the rains have moved on. Yesterday morning, early, we had some wild storms come throuugh, and the tornado sirens sounded, but thankfully no twisters at my place or in my area. But the same storm system caused death and destruction in Evansville, Indiana; upwards to 26 people have been confirmed dead, and they may find more bodies. It is really a very sad situation there! And last night, I watched a scary movie ("Category 7"), and, needless to say, I did NOT sleep vey well last night. I kept on having nightmares! YIKES! (The movie is a two-parter; it concludes next Sunday night.) I also watched "Extreme Home Makeover", which featured a woman (Susan Tom) and her daughters, all disabled and all adopted, and they got their dream home. It was a two-hour event as well, and I cried throughout the program! I just LOVE that show!! I also love the new show on NBC, "Three Wishes"; I cry buckets throughout that show as well! In fact, I wrote to them with wishes of my own; I hope they get the letter, and I hope that they come to Tennessee! I would love to see some of my wishes come true !! (I will let you know if anything happens; so stay tuned!~)
I found a poem in which I would like to share with you now; and this poem describes EXACTLY how I feel about each and every one of my children that my hubby and myself have taken in over the years. I think you will get a big blessing out of it as much as we have~

Isn't that beautful? I saw it in a book, "They Came To Stay" by Marjorie Margulies, a single woman who adopted two little girls, one from Korea, the other from Vietnam, in the early 1970's, and it is a very moving story. I also have seen this particular poem in severeal adoption magazines and in other places, and it touches me each and every time! (I have a lot of books about adoption; I guess this is only natural, seeing that I am an adoptive parent myself! *Grins*)
Well, dear friend, I will let you go. I have to get ready to go to the cafeteria, or else I will miss my lunch, and that will NOT be at ALL good! Besides, I am starving halfway to death; my stomach is realllly talking, and I wouldn't be surprised if some of my co-workers heard it! In fact, some of them are giving me strange looks! LOL I will write again soon, take care, and God bless you always!

I saw Extreme Home Makeover last night too! I instantly thought of your letters! I freaked at the backyard pool, barbecue, and the car they gave the girl! She helps her mother so much, so she was rewarded appropriately.
The adoption creed is beautiful. People really do write what they feel! Thanks for the letter today, Karen Lynn. It has a special place in my heart after seeing Extreme Home Makeover last night. It takes a special kind of person to adopt these special needs children, or any child for that matter. Blessed Be.
