Author's Note: I am feeling much better today; I had one of those 24-hour bugs. I am sooo glad to be rid of it!! :) I also found out that I am to be OFF from work on Christmas Day! So is Karla! :) God is still in the Miracle-Making Business! :)

Dear Kendra Mae~
I am writing to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very happy (and healthy) New Year! Thank you so much for your beautiful card, and thank you so much for sending me the picture of the new baby! Felicity is so adorable!! Congratulations; what a Christmas Miracle you have been given!
I am abed with the flu; seems that I have come down with it (and just in time for Christmas, too, BAH the Humbug!!). I feel pretty awful, but I can lay in bed and write emails whenever I feel like it (when I am not sleeping or throwing up or sneezing my darn head off, that is! LOL). I feel sorry for poor Bill: he is being Mr. Mom, and he is going to have to handle the company that is due to come tomorrow while I try to recover from this thing. It is a horrible thing to fall ill on Christmas, but at least none of the children are in the hospital; THAT I can be very grateful for! :) The kids are all doing well, and I hope that they don't catch my bug; I DON'T need a house full of sick kiddies, especially when company is due to come!!
I guess I will be resting in bed for Christmas, but hopefully by then, I will feel a LITTLE better. I can also send emails and talk to friends on the phone (and visit our company if I am feeling more like myself; don't want to expose THEM to my bug!!).
I hope that your children are all well and happy; I know that with the adoptions of Susie, Lacey, and Maria (and also the birth of Felicity), that this will be one Christmas you will NEVER forget!! I know that Christmas for US this year will be memorable too, especially with the adoptions of Arjun, Rani, and Janica; and also the fact that we have managed to stay away from the emergency room for the past several months! The last time I was even AT the hospital was when Johnny had his tests and Ronee' had her hip replacement surgery back in June; and they have been doing GREAT!! I hope (and pray) that this continues; I can get used to THIS!... :) I am glad that you will be spending the holiday with Louisa and Jeff and their family; you have always been good friends, and nobody should have to be alone on Christmas Day!
Well, Kendra, this isn't much, but I wanted to thank you for the card and picture you sent in the mail, and I also wanted to wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas and a very happy (and prosperous) New Year! God bless you this happy time of year, and may 2006 be just as fruitful for you and your Miracle Family!

A new birth and Felicity is her name! I love this name. A happy event, it means, something that promotes happiness. Felicity was the first thing I saw when I read this letter. Felicity is Latin, the female version of Felix, which BTW, is the name of one of our gentleman Den members. Karen, if you should ever find yourself in the Scotland area in penning your letters, I give you this name for one of your girl children.
