Dear Lousiana~
Thank you so much for the package today! I got your book, "A Family Made Out Of Miracles And Rainbows: The Sandusky Family Story--A True Story Of Love And International Adoption", and also the picture of your beautiful Miracle Family! I was so touched that you thought of me in such a special way! What a lovely family you have, Louie! :)
I thank you, too, for the tips on writing. I would love to write a book, but I just don't have the time, not with my brood. And here YOU have FIFTY THREE children, and you spit out THREE books! My, you are a marvel! :) You must be related to SuperWoman somewhere along the line! LOL
I will be sending you a picture of our family soon, as soon as we get some made. Wilma and Fred are keeping us busy, but the kids sure do love Pearl Xie! She is such a delightful child, and I know it won't take long before she is catching up to her peers or speaking English as though she had been BORN here! I have fallen in love with Pearl Xie, and I delight in holding her in my lap at night!
I am not feeling too well today; I have a touch of the flu. I woke up with it yesterday, and today I am feeling a LITTLE better, but I still feel pretty rotten. The kids have been sick too, and this is how I think I got the flu. I have been up the past week with the kids barking and coughing their heads off (if they aren't doing that, it's pooping and puking!). It has been a barrel of laughs lately here (NOT!!). If they don't feel any better by Monday, we are all going to go to the doctor's! Maybe he can give us something to knock this blu bug OUT!
The weather has been warm here, and quite windy. Not as bad as Texas or Oklahoma, per se, but still, we haven't had a lot of rain either. It's mainly gone to EAST Texas and the Gulf States, or around your neck of the woods, or in the Midwest and East; but not to areas where it is NEEDED! I hope the rain ends there soon!
I will let you go now. Seems that one of the kids is calling for me. I will write more later; take care, and God bless!
