Hello! My, but aren't YOU chock full of news today! LOL I thoroughly enjoyed your most entertaining letter; thanks ever so much for writing so quickly! I especially enjoyed hearing about your upcoming cruise to Alaska! You sure are so blessed to be doing so many exciting things in your ife! :)
I am happy to report that Bethlehem is OUT of the regular hospital. She is now in the rehab center, where she will be undergong lots of therapy. She is feeling much better, but she is still plenty enough weak, and it takes so much out of her; so whenever WE see her at the rehab center, she is usually sleeping. But I will tell her that you are keeping her in your thoughts and prayers; she will be glad to know that so many poeple care for her! Thanks for all the prayers and support!
The weather here is mild, temps in the mid to upper fifties here in Georgia. I know it is about the smae temperature there in Nashville: I have the Weather Channel on; it is supposed to rain by tomorrow here in Georgia. ICK. I HATE the rain; it always makes me feel so depressed! I'd much rather have sunshine; I am a sunshiney type of gal! :) But in Eastern Texas/Western Louisiana, they may get some severe weather with damaging winds and large hail; so I guess I can't complain about plain ol' showers now, hunh?? LOL According to the latesst computer findsings, it may get colder in Texas and a good part of the country, thanks to a strengthening Arctic front. That would be nice for those people who haven't had much of a winter! This weather has sure been crazy in a good chunk of the country! YIKES!
I am glad that things are going well for your health and also the kids' health. That is always such a relief not to worry if one of your kids are going to get sick or hurt and end up in the hospital. Speaking of hospitals, my elderly neighbor, Miss Ellie (her last name is Washington; she is in her upper 80's and is quite frail), fell the other day, and it was only yesterday when I heard what I thought was a kitten mewling; but when I checked in on my neighbor, I was horrified to find her lying on the floor, crying and moaning weakly. It was her that I had heard. Needless to say, I called for an ambulance for Miss Ellie, and I have found out from her son (Corey; he lives close to his mama) that Ellie has fractured her hip and very well may need surgery. So be praying for her, if you can. I really love Miss Ellie, and the chidren do, too. She is always so nice to them, and she always gives them lemonade and cookies whenever they see her. They call her Grandma Ellie. Isn't that sweet?
Well, Louie, I will go for now. I am going to go see Bethlehem and then see Miss Ellie. Hopefully there will be good news on both fronts. I will write again soon; take care, dear freind, and thanks again for the fast response to my email! God bless you always!
