This week, Studio Reader Stan is paid a visit by superstar actor Valkyrie Booster.
Studio Reader Stan opens his front door to see superstar actor Valkyrie Booster standing there.
Studio Reader Stan: Valkyrie Booster? What are you doing here? And how did you know where I lived?
Valkyrie Booster: I gave a piece of my used chewing gum to Ms. Pantsworth in exchange for your address. She’s going to sell it on eBay.
Studio Reader Stan: Oh-kay. So why did you want my address?
Valkyrie Booster: I’m desperately seeking an honest opinion, which is nearly impossible to find in Hollywood.
Studio Reader Stan: And you came to me. I’m almost flattered.
Valkyrie Booster: Yeah, I figured since you’re extremely unsuccessful in this town, it can only mean that you’re honest.
Studio Reader Stan: Thank you for your tact.
Valkyrie Booster: You’re welcome. Now what I want your honest opinion about, is the idea of me starring in my own life story. Y’know, like the ones they did on Ray Charles and Johnny Cash.
Studio Reader Stan: But you’re not even thirty yet.
Valkyrie Booster: True, but I’ve got everything else those two had.
Studio Reader Stan: Those two were legendary artists with long, successful careers.
Valkyrie Booster: Exactly. Like me.
Studio Reader Stan: You’ve had a very short career, and your sole claim to fame was starring in “Attack of the Sponge.”
Valkyrie Booster: And it’s two sequels.
Studio Reader Stan: I was trying to forget those.
Valkyrie Booster: That’s why I want a movie about me. People need to be reminded of my accomplishments.
Studio Reader Stan: What about the fact that Ray Charles and Johnny Cash both led remarkable lives?
Valkyrie Booster: Hey, I’ve led a remarkable life. I once had to sleep in a van.
Studio Reader Stan: Okay, that could work for you. A struggling artist who can’t afford a real place to live, but refuses to give up his dream, so he lives in a van.
Valkyrie Booster: It was for one night. I test drove a Lexus SUV and accidentally locked myself inside.
Studio Reader Stan: Well, that is remarkable.
Valkyrie Booster: I told ya’. I’ll let all your studio executive bosses know that you agree with me.
Valkyrie leaves. Studio Reader Stan figures he better start looking at the “Help Wanted” ads.
