Michael Doucet in Alaska writes a hasty letter to Louisiana, to let her know that his wife, Jenna Aurora, is in premature labor.

Dear Louisiana~
This is Michael Doucet writing y'all from Alaska. I just wanted to write to you a quick note on the way to the hospital. Jenna fell, and she has gone into premature labor; it looks like our boy will be born much sooner than expected.
As I write this, Jenna is lying on the stretcher in the back of an ambulance, and I am sitting in front with the paramedics, trying not to panic, especially when Jenna screws her face in what appears to be obvious pain. I am scared, almost to the point of being terrified, for both Jenna and our newborn boy-to-be, who will be named Mattaq Michael William Doucet. (You can probably guess where we got the middle names from. :) ) I pray all goes well, and I pray we make it to the hospital in one piece...
It looks like we will be getting a pre-Easter delivery from the Easter bunny: instead of colored eggs and candy, we are going to be getting a premature baby boy. Please keep Jenna, myself, and our soon-to-be son in your prayers, and when our son IS born, pray he makes it through the premature-laden hurdles he will probably be facing! Pray he doesn't have any anomalies, pray he has a strong set of lungs, pray he can breathe on his own, pray that he doesn't have heart problems, pray that he has all of his senses, all of his fingers and toes...
I guess we won't be going to church for Easter because of the baby, but that is okay. I would much rather be with my wife (and our son) once he IS born, and I would much rather be by his side, in case something should happen (I pray that it DOESN'T). I have already called Jerrica, Jenna's sister, and she is already on her way to Anchorage, so she can be with Jenna and myself. I am just sad that Jenna's parents couldn't have been alive to see their first grandchild from Jenna be born; they would have been proud grandparents, and I am sure that the baby would have been spoiled rotten!
Well, we are already at the hospital; I will write again after the baby is born or the day after (depending how long her labor continues, and when Junior decides to make his debut entrance into the world!). Take care, Louisie, and thanks for all the prayers you have prayed for us! God bless you all mightily, and have a beautiful and blessed Easter! Love you guys! Miss you guys, too!
