Thanks for your sweet little letter of the other day; I loved the picture of Mout Fuji; it is very pretty!
I would love to come to Japan; I think it would be very interesting; but I don't know if I would be able to eat some of the things that are popular there (squid, sushi, etc.). LOL I am willing to try new things though; you don't have to worry about me insulting you! LOL
I am going to Mexico in June; my husband, Bill, and myself are going on a cruise for our fifteenth wedding anniversary. We are going for a week; we are looking forward to getting away from the children. We have been on a cruise before, and it was absolutely wonderful! :)
We are going on another cruise in the fall; this time, the entire family is going. It was a gift from my job, as a show of appreciation. (That was very nice of my bosses to do that, wasn't it?? *grins*)
How is Reiko doing? How are the children? I hope everyone there is well! We are all fine, and our company left yesterday. (They got home safely, so don't worry.) We already miss them, but it is nice to have the house back to ourselves! :) It is so quiet without Rebekkah, Louisa, and Anna Grace being here.
We had a wonderful visit: we went to the Grand Ole Opry (twice), went to a church play (called a Cantata; it's like a play with music and dance), saw a gospel grtoup sing (they performed at our church), went bowling, and went to a movie, as well as shopping at one of our malls. We went out to eat a few times, too.
How is the weather there in Tokyo? We may get more storms later; I hope and pray not. I have had enough of storms to last me the rest of my life! It has been a very bad spring so far; we have had several rounds of severe weather, including tornadoes, wind damage, and very large hail (some of the hail got to tennis ball sized). It was NOT fun!
Now the weather may turn ugly yet again in an hour or so; I already see lightning to the west; Memphis (west of here) is currently under tornado warnings and the storms are heading this way; it won't be long before I get off the computer. I hope the weather there is good! (It's GOT to be better than it is going to be here....)
Before the storms come, I'd better turn off the computer. I don't want to risk losing my hard drive or the whole computer due to the storms; I have too many important things stored and it would be a disaster if I lost any of it!
