Dear Audrey Jackson~
I am sorry for not writing sooner; I have been busy (that is nothing new! LOL). I am sorry if I didn't respond to your e-mails; please do forgive me.
No, sweetie, I am NOT mad at you. I am sorry if I worried you so. But you try keeping tabs on fifty-plus children (plus two elderly parents) and a husband; you (should eventually) get the picture. It's not easy, but with God's Grace and Mercy, I always persevere! :)
Honey, I am so glad that Maria, Lacey, and Susie are back with you. I have been praying hard for you guys, and I hope that the bad times are finally overwith. I am sorry you have had to endure so much hell in your lives! But God is now working in your lives, and it is only by His Saving Mercy that y'all have had the miracles occur! I will continue TO lift y'all up in prayer!
We had fun this past weekend: we were at the CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair, which is held every weekend here in Nashville, and we saw a lot of wonderful shows and met a lot of wonderful stars! I got tons of autographs and pictures, and I will be sharing some of them with my friends. If you want, I will even send you some. Just let me know if you want some, and I will mail the pictures to you, pronto! :)
We also went to a Cajun music festival the prior weekend, and I took pictures there, too. My favorite band, "BeauSoleil", was the main attraction at this festival, and I also met some wonderful veterans who were in attendance.
In addition to the Cajun music, the festival saluted our veterans, and there were special speakers, patriotic music, salutes to the veterans, and even fireworks. The event for the veterans was originally scheduled to be held Memorial Day weekend, but it rained all that weekend; therefore, the plans were cancelled; so they held the veterans' salute during the Cajun festival.
In just a few days we get our newest Miracle Child: we are adopting a little seven-year-old boy from Russia whose name is Vlademir Aleksander. He has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair, but he is a beautiful little guy with his red hair and shining blue eyes! He will become our fifty-fourth child, and we are excited beyond belief!
We did not expect to add another child to our burgeoning family; however, God saw to it, and we are NOT going to argue with Him! It was HIS Decision to bring Vlady to our family, and we plan on showering the little guy with lots of love--and spoiling! LOL We are putting up the signs for him, and there is going to be a big blowout, Sandusky-style, once he DOES come!! :)
How is the weather there in Cali? Here it is hot, but that is the norm for the south during the summertime. Thank GOD we have central air; I don't know HOW people can live withOUT air conditioning here in the southland!! I remember my girlhood back in Louisiana, and it was so hot and uncomfortable there at times it is a wonder I didn't melt! LOL
Well, Audrey, I will go now: it is time to hook Jodie up to her feeding equipment (it takes an hour for her to be fed), and I also have to take care of the other kids; they are clamoring about me, demanding their lunch! LOL I will write again soon; take care, and God bless you and the girls always! I love you, and I hope to see you one day; that'd be super! :) I'd love to meet y'all and the girls!
