In our house, we have lots of toys, books and musical stuff. Find out what Dad does with them when he's sick, at home, and all alone....

There is a piano in the corner of our living room.

�I have three children�, says Dad. �And no one EVER plays it�.

�I don�t know why I bought it�.

There is a box of toys in the family room.

�I have three children�, says Dad. �And no one EVER plays with them�.

�I don�t know why I bought them�.

There is a shelf full of books in the lounge room.

�I have three children�, says Dad. �And no one EVER reads them�.

�I don�t know why I bought them�.

One day, Dad was sick. He didn�t go to work.

The kids had gone to school, and mum had gone to work.

Dad had nothing to do.

He looked at the piano. He started to play it. It was fun.

After he played the piano, he had nothing to do.

He looked at the toys. He played with the blocks. It was fun.

After he played with the blocks, he had nothing to do.

Dad looked at the book shelf. He started reading a book. It was fun.

After he read a book, he had nothing to do.

The kids came home from school. Dad was sitting in the family room.

He wasn�t doing anything.

The kids looked at Dad.

�Dad, what did you do today?�

�Oh�, said Dad, �Nothing much�.

�That�s funny�, said the kids.

�We have a piano, toys and books. That�s what we play with when we have nothing to do�.
