First ... your image of "A GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING" painted by the underestimated Johannes Vermeer is one of my favorites. It hangs on my wall alongside my wifes art.
Second ... I, too, have suffered in my life. So has every member of my family as far back as the tree is written. There will be tribulation in this life for all men. Suffering purifies the gold of who we are.
No one escapes suffering.
What I have found in my life is that the idols I have had in the past have been taken away from me. I don't get what I want - I get what I need from God.
My wife and I have always grieved for the abused and forsaken children. In my twenties I almost killed a man that was abusing a child. This will not get better - it's going to get worse. We all need to stand strong and do what each of us can to shine Gods Holy Light on this shit heap of a society.

You ROCK, ROCK Trask. Your writes always challenge the secular society world and the evil it exist. What is the answer? More darkness..God no!!!.I am convinced that the innocent underdogs need our prayers so badly....The innocent need our faith in THEM......They need constant prayers...We have a mad man wanting to test his missles in N. Korea. HA!!! This is 2006!!!!Guys is a loonatick...End times?? Who knows..Only God does.I fear nothing because I know I will be with my Savior one day. Fear?
