Dear Kendra~
My mind has been a tangle of mixed emotions this past week. I am wondering how you have been coping during this time of loss. My goodness, it has been a neverending nightmare!
How can one family go through yet more tragedy? It duesn't seem fair; it's breaking my heart!
Did you go to the service? How can Naomi and Micah go through all of this horror? Why is it happening to them, of all people?
I sent a funeral bouquet, some cash, and a sympathy card for the Cohens. I am sorry I was unable to attend little Daniella's funeral, but we had prior commitments. I hope you understand. More importantly, I hoope Naomi and Micah understand.
My children, Johnny and Ronee', both wrote to Rebekkah, as a means of encouraging her. She needs all the support she can possibly get during this sad time in her life.
Today I have the day off because yesterday I worked a double shift. I was originally scheduled to get off work at my normal 2:00 in the afternoon, but then the boss informed me that one of the nurses from OB/GYN, was down with that virus that's been going around. I agreed to stay, and I ended up having a good, but busy day. I got home a little after seven; by the time I pulled into my drivewaay, it was nearly seven-fifteen. (On a good traffic day, it takes me fifteen minutes to get back home.) I was wiped!
I guess I will spend the time writing some e-mails; I am sure some of my friends are wondering if I aam even alive (ha, ha!).
I know they will be surprised to hear from me! :)
How is the weather there? I am sorry to hear that you are moving, but maybe it's for the best. I pray that it is a smooth, transitional process! Whn are you moving? When you can, send me your new physical addres; I would love to keep in touch with you! Just be careful is all I ask! You know I am an old worrywart! LOL
The weather here has turned sharply colder. We are now wearing our winter gear. They are calling for a colder than normal winter here with above-average precipitation. Great! Just what I did not want to hear; driving in ice makes me nervous! (Snow, I can handle, but ice? *cringe!*)
The colors on our trees have started to lose their brilliance; it won't be long before the leaves turn an ugly brown. It is always sad to see the bright fall colors change.
Well, I am baking some pumpkin pies for later; gotta' make sure I don't forget about them!
Take care, Kendra, and know you are always in my prayers! God bless you and your family mightily!
~With much love, your Tennessee friend, Louisiana Mayrah. :)
