Johnny is excited. Tonight is their annual Fall Festival at their church, and he is planning on going with his family. He is looking forward to having a wonderful time.

Dear Journal~
I know it has been a while since I have written in my journal, but so many things have been happening, and it's all got my head in a whirlwind.
This is Johnny. I am excited because tonight our church is holding their annual "Fall Festival", and I get to go and have fun. I will be able to play games, eat until my belly is ready to pop (I love eating all that delicious Hallowe'en candy! YUM!), and ride the rides that they have (mainly the hayride or the bouncy thing--just as long as someone doesn't bounce me out of there; that's happened before, and it is painful when I land! OW! LOL). I will also get to see my friends from school and church, and I get to dress up, too, besides.
Tonight I am going to be a cowboy. I have my jeans, western hat, boots, plaid western shirt (with fringe on the front, back, and sleeves), and I will look cool. Ronee' is going as Loretta Lynn again, just as she has the past several years. She loves dressing up as her. (Why couldn't she do Reba or even Dolly? That'd be interesting! LOL)
My daddy is going to be working at the festival: he and maman are manning the soda pop machine, handing out sodas to thirsty guests, and there will be plenty of food to go around: hot dogs, hamburgers, tacos, burritos, sloppy joes, roast beef, fried potatoes, french fries, jalapeno poppers, pork rinds (EWW!), cotton candy, ice cream, cake, and so much more! And of course, there will be plenty of Hallowe'en candy to be enjoyed by one and all.
Daddy is going to be Raggedy Andy (this should be funny! LOL), and maman is going to be a gypsy lady. They do this every year, and they come up with the most cool costumes I have ever seen!
Of course, there will be music (Christian), and there will be a car bash where people will actually bash cars with sticks and clubs (that is going to be noisy, I am sure! LOL), a cake walk, a Hallowe'en costume contest (winners get cash prizes and coupons for movies, restaurants, and gift certificates for different stores around the area). I hope I get at least something for my costume! That'd be cool to win a movie pass, money, or free food! :)
I will let you know how our Festival went; I am looking forward to a big evening, and I am looking forward to seeing all the people come and enjoy themselves! :)
Until then, Happy Hallowe'en, and don't scare up too much mischief! The ghosts and goblins may end up playing a nasty trick on you, and that would not be good!
