“Acute & Chronic(les)” by Otsana – II – “The words I know (and are unutterable)”

I know that these words, unuttered, can be as rugged as mountain peaks. I know that they bleed with every step, as they reach, barefoot, for the unbound, eloquent lucidity which can only be seen and heard from that apex of silence, seen and heard as a hazy hollowness by those who choose to walk on the flat, even ground of expressions too tired to go any further than the monochromatic perspective of resounding platitudes. I know that they can build up as clouds, heavily pregnant with darkness, and yet I know that they may birth a twin paradox of thunderstorm and sunburst, so identical in essence that the earth, below, will perceive it as the dazzling ray of a unique advent of light. Yes, I know all this and much more about these words, unuttered, and of the infinite lightness of their weight. So, I let them tumble, as stones would, freely, down the slope – and marvel at the wings they suddenly grow, on each side of their shifting substance, as they evolve, through layers of air, into birds that sing. And I know, by your outstretched arms, by that unlimited blueness of your eyes, and by the song arising in your breath, that you see them, and hear them, openly. These unutterable words that I feel… for you.
