Whoops! I'm sorry! I guess my "catty nature" got a hold of me; please forgive me!
My name is Aurora. In actuality, my whole name is Aurora Borealis of the Far North, but if you think that is a mouthful, you can just call me "Aurora". My Humans do, and so do my Animal Friends.
I am a Norwegian Forest Cat (known in Norwegian as "Norsk Skaukatt"). I am known for my adaptability to cold weather, my double-layered, water-proof coat, large, slightly oval-shaped eyes, large, round paws, longer rear legs than the legs up front, long, very bushy tail, and my adorable, affectionate "Purr"sonality.
I have lived with my Human Companions Katrina Delchamps and Franklin Hammer since I was a Wee Kitten. Now, at first, I didn't know about Katrina because when I first came to live with the Hammer/Delchamps Family, there was only Frank. Katrina was in a Place called a Hospital: she was recovering from an operation on her belly; she was very sick. She came home when she got better; when I first saw Katrina, I hissed at her. I thought she was a Threat. I did not like her!
Now, like most Cats, I spend a lot of my time sleeping; in fact, sleeping is my Number One Love! :) The longer I can spend my time sleeping by a warm fireplace (or in my Master's or Mistress' lap), the happier I am! I also love to play with my Toys, Eat (I love fish- , liver- , beef- , and chicken- flavored Cat Food the best; I love it all!!), Meow, Purr, and Go Exploring. There are many Interesting Things to do, many Interesting Places to see! I am never bored! :)
Another Favorite Activity of mine is sitting on a nice warm Human Lap (or Feet!). On a cold, winter's night, there is nothing more Satisfying to my Master or Mistress than to have me sitting on their lap, so they can love on me until I purr! When I turn on my Purr Machine, I am in absolute Bliss!
They say a Kitty's Purr is one of the most calming, soothing sounds a Human can hear; I believe they are right! :)
