Ronee' writes some more in her journal, trying to sort out her mixed-up emotions.

Dear Journal~
This is Ronee' Reaux writing. I am doing a little better.
It helps having Johnny out of the Pediatric ICU. He is now in a regular ward, and just about all his tubes are gone. He is eating a little, and there doesn't appear to be any sign of brain damage from the seizure he had the other day, which is a miracle. God has been answering our prayers! :)
Johnny should be released from the hospital in a few days, according to his doctors. We can't wait to have him back home; we miss Johnny like crazy!!
And there was some good news involving my friend, Rebekkah Rachel: she moved her right arm a little; she may be starting to get some of her movement back. The doctors are still hesitant to say that she will not be a quadriplegic forever, but any movement is better than none, ya know?? Rebekkah was shot about two weeks ago, as was her sister, Maddie; both are making amazing progress, and people are amazed as to how well they are doing.
Kendra Kent got some good news as well: she is pregnant; this will be the first child she had after adopting a total of 22 children, all with special needs. Doctors didn't think Kendra would ever get pregnant: she is in a wheelchair because she was born with spina bifida, paralyzed from the waist down. That she got pregnant is nothing short of a miracle!
Speaking of adoption, Kendra and Michael are adopting twin girls from Africa, aged seven. The girls are to be named Jenna and Gemini. Isn't that great, or what??
Mamma and daddy are adopting as well: they are adopting a little three-year-old boy from Finland into our family; his name is Bjorn Wilhem, and he is sooo cute! He looks like Johnny did when he was small; it's like looking at Johnny as a child all over again! Bjorn is healthy enough, but he was born deaf and blind; he communicates via sign language, and he is a little wild, according to the adoption agency my parents are working with. Hopefully with love and support, little Bjorn will settle down.
I am doing better emotionally; I have been praying a lot, reading the Bible a lot, even writing my feelings dwon. I find this helps. Mamma and daddy are still thinking of having me see a child psychiatrist to help me deal with things, I don't think this is very fair; I'm not crazy in the head!! What if he thinks I am loopy? I don't want to end up in the mental hospital!! That'd be too scary for words!!
I have been doing okay with my health, just my JRA acts up is all. I am still taking my meds every day, doing my therapy twice a week at the hospital, and walking on my canes, nothing much new there. I just hope I don't have any flares; I hate those things! I especially hate it when I end up in the hospital due to a darn flare up; those are the worst!!
The weather is warming up; daddy's already cut the grass once (he busted his lawn mower when his crutch fell off and he ran over it; mamma said it made a spectacular noise! LOL Wish I was around to have heard it! LOL That had to be something! LOL). He gets the mower (and the crutch) back this week. Only daddy would do something that crazy; he is always doing something stupid or silly! LOL (He's something of a klutz.)
Mamma had a sinus infection (and a killer-diller migraine), but she is over it now, and she is trying to answer her e-mails. She never will get caught up; seems as soon as she gets one (or two, maybe even three), here comes another letter. In fact, she got a letter from a lady named Sierra Williams, who is a double amputee--and a ballet dance instructor. I have never met her, but I have heard a lot about her from mamma and Kendra.
She will have to stay up forever in order to get all her mail answered; she'll never be able to go to bed again! LOL
Well, dear Journal, I am going to head off now. I am going to watch the Grand Ole Opry on the Great American Country Channel; I watch that every Saturday if we aren't there. Take care and God bless!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux. :D
Just because Louisiana and Bill suggest Ronee' see a child phychologist/psychiatrist does not mean she is "crazy in the head." She has a lot of turmoil inside her 14 year old body and doesn't know how to deal with the conflicting emotions. She's seen far more, she's had far more tragedy in her young years than most people have for a lifetime...an excellent write from Ronee'! Glad to hear about Johnny and Rebekkah Rachel; glad she is finding her faith again. :)
