A girl once asked me “If a tree fell in the woods and nobody was around to hear it, would it make a sound?”
Without even hesitating I said “Yes it does.”
“How do you know?” The girl asked back.
Without hesitating I replied as matter of factly as I could “Because I am nobody and once I was in the woods and a tree fell and made a very loud crash which sacred the shit out of me.”
She just rolled her eyes and made and “L” with her fingers on her forehead as she turned ad walked away.

Very interesting, Troy. Your character has a distinctive "voice" and I found myself chuckling more than once as I read. I'm hoping this is just the beginning of the story, because I would like to read farther and find out who "she" is that came into his life...
