This story is to educate readers about Noonan Syndrome.
Hello and welcome. I'm Shalene Richards a new mom and author of my fist book "Poetic Wings". My 8mths old son was diagnosed with Noonan Sydrome at 2 mths old. Noonan Syndrome is a genetic disorder that may affect the heart and kidney. It is associated with facial abnormalies that includes: slanted eyes, flat nose bridge, low set ears etc. One of the common heart defects of Noonan SYdrome which I will futher refer to as NS is Pulmonic Stenosis.
