Dear Journal~
I never thought it would come to this, but Johnny Sandusky and I have broken up, parted ways. I guess he felt that he was "too much of a burden", so he decided to call it quits. I never saw him cry as hard as I did the other day, when he broke the news to me; I pray this isn't detrimental to his already precarious health---
Besides breaking up with Johnny, I continue to worry about Susie Callaway: she still seems distant, aloof somehow, like she is purposely avoiding me. Ever since I started seeing Johnny Sandusky, she'd been doing everything she possibly could to sabotage or friendship (Johnny's, as well as mine). She says she's changed, but I honestly don't believe her. She's still acting spiteful, mean; it hurts me to no end because she can't seem to understand that I need a break from her.
Now that she's ruined my friendship with Johnny, I hope she is happy with herself. I just hope that this breakup doesn't cause Johnny to suffer a relapse with his health; I don't know if I could ever forgive myself if something bad were to happen to him~
Susie never could understand that Johnny Sandusky needs people who can help him through the tough times, that he's dying. One never knows when Johnny will have another medical crisis or when his muscular dystrophy will advance to the point to where he is bedridden, to where he'll need 24-hour medical care, to where he'll be dependent on others for his needs, to where he'll need to breathe with a ventilator.
Ever since Susie became saved, I kept hoping that she would learn to lean on Yeshua (such as I have done), yet it doesn't appear that she has. She's also changed since her stroke: it's as if her stroke has altered her personality. It's really upsetting.
Johnny e-mailed me earlier today; I didn't even bother to open it. Last week before this happened, he told me that Ronee' didn't make it to the semi-finals on "America's Got Talent". Ronee' must have been crushed; she tried her hardest. I will have to watch the show tonight; I missed it lst week. I am looking forward to seeing Ronee' on television! She is definitely a bona-fide diva-in-training! :) I will have to e-mail Ronee', so I can offer her my congratulations (or condolences). Hopefully, she took her loss well; she always has seemed to do well in the past in her auditions.
Well, it will be August tomorrow. It's hot here; summer is definitely in full swing! I'm just glad we're no longer out west; temps in the one hundred and teens in places like Las Vegas, Nevada, and Pheonix, Arizona! (Yikes! Too hot, hot for me!!)
The temps have to be in the 70's (or below 85 degrees); I just can't handle the heat! Give me nice, cool temps any day of the week, and I'm happy!
Mom is dealing with her Frederich's ataxia as best as she can. It's still hard, though: I hate seeing her losing control of her body; with a large family to raise, she doesn't need any more problems with her health! She cries at night, yet during the day, she puts on a brave front, so we kids don't have to worry our heads off all the more!
We're also dealing with our little brother Daniel's Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Will his MD come on slow, insidiously, like Johnny's, or will it be a rapid decline? In any event, it scares the daylights out of me when I think of the terrifying symptoms that little Danny will experience down the road. I'm not looking forward to when he'll need a wheelchair or walking aids; it will surely serve as a painful reminder of how disabled he'll eventually become.
Well, I just managed to make myself cry again, so I'll go. I'll write in here another day; gotta' go and clear my head, think about what's going on with me. Maybe I'm the one who's crazy; maybe I'm the one who needs to see a shrink!
