Fun in hospital, more fun on leaving!
Gloria was in hospital suffering from a malady which doctors felt might be psychosomatic. Gloria suddennly felt a near death experience and clearly saw St Peter in the distance at the gates of heaven. As she approached, St Peter had a word for her.
"Not yet Gloria. You have another 42 years, three months, six days, fourteen hours, four minutes and 37 seconds before you will enter the pearly gates."
With such wonderful good news, Gloria decided to have radical surgey before leaving hospital. Her hips wre reduced, Bags under her eyes removed, skin stretched, muscles toned, and a body ready to impress was polished off with the hospital hairdresser creating a new modern coiffure in a new bold new colour. Gloria felt a million dollars.
As she left the hospital, she did not see an emergency ambulance arrive at Accident and Emergency. It failed to stop and poor Gloria breathed her last breath mangled in the bent fender of the ambulence.
Arriving at St Peter''s gates she was a little upset to say the least.
"St Peter, you said I had 42 years left."
"Oh" said St Peter, " It''s you Gloria. I did not recognise you!"
