This is the True story behind the "Pome for Garth Brooks", I got the Idea for the Pome by listening to his music and seeing the DVD's of his Concerts, I do have a cd of his music and was listing to that as well but I had always felt as I am a big fan of his. there were 2 songs of his CD and his DVD's that I really loved the 2 songs are "if tommrrow never comes" and "The Dance as well there are the 2 videos by the same name that I love as well, because it truly meat a lot to me by the words and the melody being heard in the background as God's spirit and the voice of the singer touch the cord in my heart that made feel as if he was singing about me or about someone that's close to me, I always felt I like to wright a pome as in a way a tribute to him, but I aways had seen other people wright things like this and I wonder why can't I wrght something like this, the poem was only to be a temp to see if I could only try and wright something that good and I was shock when the pome was done I had to read it twice before I begin to cry seeing and reading what I wroght down,  then when I had showed it to some poeple here in my home town  and the reviews and the words that I heard from people that I had talk to gave me thumbs up on the review. then seeing the reviews on this site Just blow me away, now it tells me that any one can wright anything only if they put there mind to it and do  it. I just give thanks to God because being able to wright poetry is a gift that only comes From God alone.
I had also seen a live Concert of Garth on T.V. and that is how I was able to Wright it that very night when the Concert was on.
