This is a short story about my experience with credit card debt.
I remember the first consultation with Theresa at Family First Debt Relief. I responded to their commercial. At the beginning of our conversation, she said, I want to help you change your perception of "debt".
She said, "Understand that the money you spent and received from your credit cards, all $95,000 of it, was received legally." It is cash from which you benefited. It is not "debt", now all we need to do is walk you through the process of removing the possibility that creditors can force you to pay on their terms.
She went on to say, "List all of your creditors and the balance next to each name. Now total that and write that amount into the following sentence -- I am so very grateful for receiving $95,000. --"
WOW! That did it for me, and for far less than I'd pay an attorney, I got my life back and now actually have a positive net worth and it's only been 7 months since I joined!
