In their infinite wisdom, the timeless “Athenas” of these Olympian grounds always manage to find a Perseus, anxious to please, who will bring them, duly dead, the reflections of their own Medusas. So that those faces of theirs, so horrendous that they will turn anyone who faces them to stone, may be exhibited in the shields for the battles to be fought in this immortality known as human condition (immortal, precisely, because it remains exactly the same throughout the centuries) – as the faces of the enemy, defeated. Ah, the infinite wisdom of… huh, the goddesses, the gods!
Meanwhile, Apollo awaits Zeus’s supreme decision about his transfer, or not, to another team – they speak of the one of Hades, but also of the one of Poseidon – where the terrestrial sphere is played according to the very same tactic (after all, the supreme gods are all… huh, brothers!): to dodge Chronos, that infamous, insatiable fire-eater, for as long as possible!
And somewhere, in some obscure room with a view to the inner-yard of some obscure building in some labyrinthic city, Hercules, exhausted, takes off his sandals and his tunic. It has been one more day of hard tasks. How difficult are… huh, the gods, the goddesses, to please, dammit?!
