Dear Journal~

Johnathon here.  I am excited; tomorrow is the start of the CMA Music Festival, and I get to be right in the middle of all those country stars, not to mention, crazy fans!!  It's always a wild time when the CMA Music Festival comes to town!!

I am performing Saturday (as is Ronee'), but I get to perform twice, neener, neener, neener! LOL  I am looking forward to it!!  I love singing my favorite country songs for the fans!!

After that, we go to Las Vegas, Nevada, as Ronee' is auditioning for a chance to appear on "America's Got Talent". I pray she does well, but personally, I can't stand that show; some of the acts they have on there have no business even trying out; how they can even begin to call themselves "Talented" is beyond me!!

Ronee' has more talent in her little finger than a lot of people; yet they end up going to the next round (like Leonid the Magnificent or Kashif), while deserving people like my sister get overlooked!! It really drives me bat crazy!!

I also don't like Piers Morgan:  he's pompous; he makes Simon Cowell look like a purring pussycat!!  He's MEAN!!!!!  He makes kids cry; he ought to be fired!!

Now, some of the people on there ARE talented (like Bianca Ryan who won at the age of 11 or Terry Fator, last year's winner, as well as Taylor Ware), but a good portion of them are NOT.  That's why I don't watch "AGT"; it's nearly as bad as "American Idol"!!

Anyway, back to my story. 

After the CMA Music Fest, we go to the Nashville Fourth of July BLAST!, where I perform again, and then we go to Louisiana and Ohio in August.  After that, it's the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon.  Then I don't know what's up; things are still in the air.  We're not performing nearly as much this year (thanks, in part, to the high gas prices); we're mostly staying put this year. 

Maybe I can go swimming, or maybe I can play video games all summer long.  Or maybe play baseball; our team, the Challengers, lost in the final round; we got eilimated after the first two games; we didn't have a chance.  It was very upsetting; I really wanted our team to do well this year in Little League!!

I have been watching a lot of U-Tube (or however you spell it).  Lots of crazy stuff on there; lots of bad stuff that has no business even being ON there.  Mama is shocked by what some of they show on there; she has a parental block on there, so we don't see the bad vids.  Yet I can watch things by Ronnie Milsap or Reba, and I can also see inspirational vids, so all is not lost there in U-Tube Land.

Well, I am going to go back to bed.  I am sorry if this isn't that good, but I just woke up; I am still sleepy. Didn't sleep good last night; kept getting air hungry.  Scary!!  (I think a bug crawled into my trache tube. LOL)  I will catch y'all later, will write after the CMA Music Fest.  Wish me luck on Saturday; pray I don't screw up royally!  (I am known to do that! LOL)
