A visible but unexplained event had happened . It was a miracle .
Miffy had been blind since birth and soon found his way in a world of sounds and smell . He knew how the sun felt and how the snow would melt and how roses smelt and what was soft and hard . The only thing he didn't know was what red looked like or what a blue sky was .
The sense of sight most people had was taken from Miffy but in return he had been given some extra senses and gifts .
Miffy had been given a gift of healing and he could also speak and translate other languages . It was amazing how he could understand things most people found beyond them .
From an early age his parents saw how when he held their hands any physical pain seemed to leave .
As he grew they knew he had a special gift . When he lifted little babies their crying would instantly stop . People with bleeding noses and cuts were healed as lf by the touch of his hand .
No one could deny he was special and all the community loved .
When Miffy was old enough to understand the difference between men and women he met a young lady by the name of Sheila .
The moment they met something happened between them . At first it was a spark , then a flame and soon a burning fire enveloped them .
It was love .
But as soon as the fire was ignited , something or someone had doused their
flames . Sheila refused to answer any of the letters or phone calls from Miffy .
She avoided him and it wasn't long until Miffy got the message . As hard as it was to accept the break up he knew it was somethi9ng he had to do .
Miffy turned to religion and was seen at church every day . One morning after mass he overheard a group of old women talking outside the church .
They were talking about a lady who had been diagnosed with cancer at a very young age . When they mentioned the name of the girl was Sheila , then he knew the reason why she had drifted out of his life so suddenly.
Miffy made his way to her house and knocked on the door . He brought inside and her parents who knew the relationship explained why Sheila did what she did .
Sheila was taken into hospital and was given only a short time to live .
Miffy asked if he could go there and her parents agreed to bring him .
Inside the ward she lay in a bed .
Vicious signs of degeneration had already started to display death atb the door . Her body was drawn and withered .
Miffy went over and placed his hands on her fragile body and called upon the healing gifts within him , to pour forth .
Sheila opened her eyes and smiled . Then she reached out and held his hand .
Miffy continued to visit every day and week after week Sheila's improvement was miraculous . After a month the doctors took x-rays And tests which showed up no signs of cancer in her body .She had made a complete recovery and in the middle of a fine sunny day she was discharged from the hospital .
Shortly afterwards the word spread about the miracle and Miffy was offered a regular job on radio . He started a program called The Miracle Hour where people could ring up and speak about their illnesses and cures .
It was a very popular show .
Miffy and Sheila were married in a church and they soon were blessed with six beautiful children .
