I knew it; I just KNEW it! Someone was stealing gas out of my car!
Right in my own front yard!
I could tell my car was using too much gas, and considered there may be a gas thief. So coming home from work one evening, I wedged a small piece of paper into the door of my
gas tank. I'll get proof, I thought.
Sure enough, next morning the paper was on the ground. I'm late for work, but I'll investigate more when I get home, were my next thoughts. Hrmph...more gas missing!
My husband was at home when I got off work.
"John! Someone has been stealing gas out of my car! Have you seen any strangers in our yard?" "No", he replied, rather sheepishly. "Well, I put a trap out for them, and could tell someone had been in my gas tank!" "
"Huh..." was all he could say! "John, do you know anything about this? Was it YOU who stole the gas?"
Now, THAT was something I had never thought of, and the accusation may have been unfair, but I had to get to the bottom of this situation!
"You know I wouldn't steal gas," he said with a smug grin. "I was just using my 'Oklahoma Credit Card'."
And that's how I learned about an Oklahoma Credit Card. For you that don't know...the OK Credit Card is a siphoning hose :o)
LOL Micke! You make EVERYTHING fun, even getting gas "stolen" from you! Remind me to tell you sometime about my putting WATER into my gas tank, thinking it was gas!!!
