Dear Louie in Tennessee~

Thank you so much for writing back to me so quickly; it was great to hear from you!  Thank you, too, for sending me the picture of your family; they are absolutely beautiful!

And you married a tall one!  How tall is your husband?? Seven foot??  WOW!!  LOL

My husband, George, is only 5'5"; he's a little dude! LOL

I am glad that you and Bill have a lot of love to give.  So do we, but as I alluded to in my last letter, I don't think I could handle kids with serious disabilities, esepecially since George is disabled himself; it'd be too much for him to handle.

With his back troubles, we have to be careful.  He's been in pain for years, and it hurts me to see him suffering in silence.  I try to ask if I can do anything, but he says no.  Call him a stubborn ol' coot!  LOL

I guess for what he lacks, I have to make up for it.  I am the family breadwinner, caretaker, manager, financier, doctor:  you name it, and I do it, every day, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (366 if a leap year)!  LOL 

Call me SuperWoman!! LOLOLOL

Now, I have a question to ask.  Do you homeschool your kids, or do they go to public school?  I was just wondering.  I homeschool my kids, as does George, and they are doing fantastic with their schoolwork.  I am so proud of them I could just bust!

I have never been to Tennessee, but have always wanted to go.  George is a huge fan of the Grand Ole Opry:  he loves Little Jimmy Dickens.  Always has.  Personally, I can't stand him; he drives me up the wall with his stupid "May The Bird of Paradise (Fly Up Your Nose)" song; it's totally asinine!  I am more into today's country:  Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler.

Have you ever been to the Grand Ole Opry?  Living in Nashville, I bet you have a time or two (or three)!  LOL  I would love to go to the Opry, but if Little Jimmy Dickens is on, I just might have to go hide in the ladie's bathroom until his set is over!  LOL

My husband gets mad at me:  he says that what I like isn't country.  I beg to differ with him!!  LOL  At least it's better than that twangy, "Cry-in-your-beer, my-wife-done-run-off-with-my-best-friend-in-his-pickup-truck" type fodder!! LOL  GAD, how I HATE that ol' time country!!

He and I get into more disagreements about that!! LOLOL  And then I feel bad because the kids think we're going to end up getting a divorce; arguing about country music is no means of grounds for divorce!!  LOL 

You asked me what books I have of yours.  Well, I just have the latest one; don't have the first one.  I also don't have your children's book or your book about your nursing experiences.  I appreciate that you want to send them as a gift; that's very sweet of you!  I could have paid for them; however, I can't turn down a gift!!  LOL

I read just about everything I can get my hands on:  romance, mystery/suspense, fantasy, Chicken Soup for the Soul, inspirational, true medical, true crime, biography.  I don't do science fiction though; sci-fi bores me to tears, puts me to sleep, as do "how to" books!  BORRRing!! 

Well, I will let you go now.  The kids are starting to arise; it's another new day here in Sisters, Oregon, and unless I want some cranky kids, I'd best get hopping, get their breakfasts on the table!  Take care and may God bless you mightily!
