Dear Journal~
Strange things are afoot. Somehow, I feel it in my bones. Today is that creepy time of year; there's no telling what may occur this spooky day. It's anyone's guess.
The Hunchback here. You know who I mean. The guy from the Victor Hugo novel, the guy with the horrible bump on his back, the one with the frightfully ugly mug that caused people to run away, screaming, or even faint, in abject terror. Yeah, that's him.
Actually, it's really Johnathon. Johnathon Sandusky. I'm dressed up as the Hunchback for Hallowe'en; anything for a good, scary laugh, see if I can scare the pants off unsuspecting girls (or teachers). :P
I think I will make a good Hunchback; all I have to do is have someone stuff a good sized pillow in my backside, sit slumped over in my wheelchair, put on a scary mask, and there you go. Instant Hunchback! :) Now, am I cool or what??
Anything's got to be better than my sissy Ronee'. She's going as a spider. Eight fake legs and all. If she were smaller, I'd run over her one with my chair; kill the spider flat! I hate spiders; to see her with her spidery get up is enough to give me the creeps!! BRRR!! I HATE spiders!
I know, I know. We're fifteen, way too old to be dressing up, but hey, lighten up! Hallowe'en isn't just for kids anymore. I've seen plenty of grownups dressed up in frightful costumes, even when it was not Hallowe'en. Take for instance, my one teacher, Ms. Hamm. She has a face only Dracula or Frankenstein could love; she's uuuuuuuuuuuuuuugly!! LOL
I bet she sleeps in a coffin at night. I wouldn't put it past her!!
I am looking forward to school today. I know I won't be the only ones dressed up. I am sure a lot of kids will be, as will probably some of the teachers. On past occasions, I have seen some pretty wild costumes for Hallowe'en. Like the time last year, when Mr. Gates dressed up as a pig. A pink pig. A very pink pig! That was hilarious; it still makes me laugh when I think of His Pinkness! LOL
I don't know how he could show his face again after that one! I know kids still pick on him, call him Sir Porky. LOL
Last year our school had a costume contest. The one who won was a kid who came in as a burned out lightbulb. Pretty original, but also extremely stupid. I should have been the one who won: I was an alien from outer space. I worked really hard on my costume. Even painted my face silver (and couldn't get it off for a week; for a week, I had a silvery face)!
I mean, really. I was robbed!! I am still howlin' over that one!
Tonight is our annual church Harvest Festival. Hunchback or not, I am still going. I am doing good, no more coughing than usual, no annoying sniffles; I'm okay. No sickness, and don't plan on getting it anytime soon. Besides, I've already gotten my flu shot, so I'm good for another year. Got that two weeks ago.
I am looking forward to it. There'll be lots of fun activities for the kids and grownups who come, wonderful gospel music (Kevin Spencer Family, plus sissy Ronee' and myself will be performing prior to the Spencers' show), lots of food and drink (non alcoholic, of course!), just fun, fun, fun!
I can't wait to get there, show 'em what I am made of! :) I may be a Hunchback, but my goal's not to scare people there; my goal is to have FUN, as only I can do! :) As long as I'm enjoying good health, I might as well make the most of it, get into the spirit of the celebration! WHEEE!
Whoops! Gotta get ready, eat, take my meds, have my breathing treatments, get my gear, and go, go, go! On that note, this is the Hunchback of Notre Dame (via Nashville, Tennessee), Johnathon Sandusky, saying toodles for now! Have a wonderful, scary, safe, fun Howl-o-we'en! BOOOOOO!!
~Love, your creepy, gross Hunchback friend, Johnathon Sandusky. :D
