Dear Journal~

Howdy, y'all!  It's just me.  Ronee'.  Hope this finds y'all okay; I'm doing great!!

Tomorrow and Wednesday, some of my sisters (and brother) are coming home for Thanksgiving.  They are either driving in (or in the case of Anh, Steffi, and Lightning, flying in).  It will be great to see them again; I've missed them like crazy!!  I will also see my cousins, my sisters' husbands (Andre' and Darnell), and my brother's girlfriend, Thu.  It will be a great time!

On Thursday (Thanksgiving), we will watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade (as we do every year; I love the Macy's parade!!), then go out to eat at Golden Corral for turkey and all the trimmin's, with pumpkin or pecan pie to top it off.  (I'm having the pumpkin pie; am allergic to nuts, so this is why I won't touch the pecan pie.  LOL)

It's getting chilly here:  temps in the fifties, sometimes forties, with lows in the thirties, twenties some mornings.  BRRR!!  I love cold weather, don't get me wrong; but I'm just not ready for winter quite yet!  I'm still gettin' my body acclimatized to the cooler temperatures!  LOL  We may have snow by this time in a few weeks; they're calling for colder than normal weather here, with plenty of snow. 

Nice.  Just as long as I don't bust my yo, I'll be okay.  Not easy navigating snow on canes or crutches!! WHEE!! LOLOL

Just have to be extreeeeeeeeeemely careful, is all I can say!

We've been busy at church:  getting ready for the mob on Thursday (won't be there this year, due to our going out to eat, plus the family being in; they're feeding the homeless/indigent people of the community that day; we are usually there, but haven't been for the past two years), practicing for our Christmas Cantata, and this past weekend, we had a retreat (Cleansing Stream).  

Let's just say I got rid of a lot of "junk in the trunk".  God cleaned me good; I feel free for the first time in a very long period!  I got rid of abandomnent/rejection [my birth mother didn't want me], guilt, shame, condemnation, death, bitterness, fear, and mind control.  I was healed in a lot of areas, and I feel pure, clean, whole!!  It was an awesome experience, and I would recommend it to anyone who may be going "through things"!

It was an eye opening experience, and I know I've been changed in ways I couldn't even begin to imagine!

I'm still driving; haven't wrecked the Bug.  LOL  I am a very careful, but good, driver.  Lots of crazies out on the road; I especially hate driving when there are semi trucks or other huge vehicles beside me; they could do an awful lot of damage to a lone little Bug!! 

I just hope people don't get mad at me when I park in the handicapped zone.  They think I'm faking it sometimes, or am too lazy to get out and walk; when they see my canes, then they shut up, learn not to make accusations, because then they know I'm not faking it.  What person would want to walk with assistance?  I don't, but I have no choice. 

Should thank God I can walk, even if I have to have help.  :)

Nothing drives me crazier than when people who CAN get around park in handicapped zones; then they're leaving people like me stranded.  GRRRRR!!!

I don't get around as well as a lot of people; this is why I use the handicapped zone.  D'Oh!!

I'm looking forward to Friday:  I'm continuing my CHRISTMAS SHOPPING!! Whee!!  I love the day after Thanksgiving (Black Friday):  it's nutz, but boy, is it FUN!!  I can find some great bargains for gifts; it's awesome!!  And we get to go out to eat, too, to refuel before we continue shopping!!  LOL

And a month from TOMORROW I'll be 16 years old!!  I can then go on a date if I find a boy (or if a boy finds me), and I can wear makeup on a regular basis!  I love to look pretty; it's proof I'm growing up! 

If driving isn't proof, as is my young woman's body, then I don't know what else is!

Well, I have to go:  eat a quick bite, take my morning meds, then head out the door.  School, you know.  Don't want to miss the bus.  So on that note, let me wish y'all a very  happy, SAFE, FUN Thanksgiving, and be careful when y'all go shopping!  May God bless you as much as He's been blessin' me; He's been blessin' my SOCKS off!!
