There was once a mother who had twins. One good, one (sometimes) bad.
You can guess which one I am. LOL I don't have to write letters to Santa Claus, explaining my actions. My twin, on the other hand...*shaking head*
Most of the time she's good; there are times, though, when little horns of deviltry sprout up from underneath her angelic halo.
And so, I have to get "The Pacifier": one of my crutches, sometimes both, if she is really mischevious, annoying, or bad. LOL It works like a charm. One good pop on the ankle usually has her on her knees, begging for mercy.
Crutches make excellent pacifiers. Well, I have to defend myself SOMEHOW!!
I try to be good all the time. Doesn't always work, but I try. Having the love of my Saviour helps a lot. My twin has it, too, but there are times when the devil makes her do it. LOL (She just can't leave well enough alone!)
Know why she does it: she's only trying to put a smile on my face.
So she can't be ALL bad. Her heart is in the right place most of the time. I do hope you can make her (and my Christmas) a little more merry. (See explanation below.)
Dear Ms. Sparkly Leg Warmers:
Here is my list:
*A little bit of the "green" (not asking for a million, just enough to have food, and some extras)
*Notebook paper (college-ruled; a StoryTeller HAS to have paper!!) and pens (ditto!)
*Some Cajun music or traditional country CD's (Loretta Lynn, Little Jimmy Dickens, or Brad Paisley would suit me just fine; also love Belton Richard, Jimmy C. Newman, and "BeauSoleil")
*Clothes (sweatshirts--any color will do--, size XL, pants the same)
*Books (Christian non-fiction/autobiography, inspirational, children's [as long as it is NOT fantasy, mystery/detective, or vampire]).
And for my twin to be happy. She tries to take care of me and will often go without to make sure I have what I need. If that isn't good, then I don't know what is.
We have been very sad this year: you see, Ms. Leg Warmers, we lost our big, strong daddy back in May (he would have been 78 in October). It hit both of us hard, Karla, particularly. The holidays will be less bright, less merry, without him in our lives.
Thanks for your time and may you have a very Merry, Blessed Christmas!
~Love, your friend, Karen Lynn ("The Good One"). :(
