This is my opinion, how I feel. I'm very proud that someone wants to be our president with a real sincere, genuine attitude. A man of quality and realistic views and not afraid to try. I hope others feel the same way.
I knew he would win, I had not a doubt in my mind. It was written that he would be the new face for change, the new face for peace, the new face for happiness in America. Congratulations to the whole United States of America for pulling together and voting even if voting never has been your thing. You did it!!!
You know it's a new day when the people decided to open their eyes to recieve the solution given to them. When the people can recognize that "it's time to try something different". I say " Why not? You gave Bush a try and kept him in office for an 8 year term. It's best to change up sometime because you never know where or what change can get you".
But what I ask of the american people is that we continue to work together in helping BARACK with change by doing our part in bringing the very much needed issues to the light so that he can tackle them head on. We must also realize that although he is PRESIDENT, there will come a time where we may not always agree on what BARACK will do or rules he will pass. But it is important to try and imagine yourself wearing his shoes and really think about how hard it is to rule the world. So I ask that you be patient with him, pray for him and continue to hold him high because...
MY GOD...HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE.... I AM SO PROUD. And I want to say to:
BARACK OBAMA, FIRST THAT I AM TRULY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS AND ALTHOUGH YOUR GRANDMOTHER IS NOT HERE, SHE IS ALWAYS WITH YOU. PLEASE KNOW THAT GOD GAVE HER A SPECIAL SEAT IN HEAVEN WITH A BIG SCREEN T.V. CLOUD WITH ALL OF THE ANGEL'S SURROUNDING HER WHILE THEY ALL WERE WATCHING YOUR SPEECH. BELIEVE THAT!
NEXT, I APPRECIATE THE JOURNEY YOU HAVE CHOSEN TO TAKE BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO BE A UNIQUE AND VERY SPECIAL INDIVIDUAL TO EVEN WANT THE POSITION THAT YOU'RE IN.
LAST BUT NOT AT ALL LEAST. I AM PROUD OF YOU, YOUR WIFE AND FAMILY FOR STICKING BY EACH OTHER, PROJECTING TEAM WORK IN ALL OF THE DECISIONS AND MOVES THAT YOU'VE MADE THUS FAR. MAY YOUR JOURNEY BE ALL THAT YOU EXPECT IT TO BE, MAY THE LORD USE YOU LIKE HE ALREADY HAS AND MAY YOU CONTINUE TO HEAR HIM THROUGH OUT ALL OF WHAT YOU WILL ENCOUNTER.
I MUST SAY BARACK, THAT I AM, AT THIS MOMENT... FOR THE FIRST TIME, I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN BECAUSE I NEVER REALLY HAD REASON TO BEFORE OTHER THAN FREEDOM.
AND ALTHOUGH I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN PROUD TO BE BLACK I MUST SAY THAT I AM EVEN MORE SO AT THIS POINT, PROUDER TO BE BLACK, I AM PROUD TO BE APART OF THIS HISTORICAL MOMENT THAT GOD HAS BESTOWED UPON US.
