Dear All~

Kaylee Beausoleil here.  Thought it is time I update you on what's been going on with us since I last wrote.

Happily, the children have remained healthy:  not a sniffle or cough from them.  Even Kaysa, my youngest child who has serious medical problems, has remained relatively stable, which has been a huge answer to prayer.

It's been nothing short of a miracle!

Church keeps me busy, focused.  It's a great way to make me forget of my own troubles, for a while at least.  The children are involved, too, and everyone seems more relaxed, happier.

I am so blessed to have my new church family at Christ Community!  They've taken us all underneath their wing, have made us feel welcome.  It's a big church, but not nearly as big as some.  It's pretty simple, especially as far as big churches go, and the preaching is dynamic, powerful, unforgettable.

We have some exciting times ahead for us:  in April is our annual revival; two of gospel's premier groups will be entertaining that week (the Kevin Spencer Family and the Bill Gaither Vocal Band), and the McKameys will be doing a concert on Mother's Day weekend. 

And don't forget the Easter Cantata, which is going to be held on Easter weekend.  That's always a big deal, according to the church members.

April is busy, as you can see.  So is May.  In May is the spring edition of Cleansing Streams.

And in October will be the annual production of "Heaven's Gates & Hell's Flames", as well as the Harvest Festival, while in November there'll be military salutes/services, the feeding of the homeless for Thanksgiving, and Cleansing Stream (fall edition).

In December, the Christmas Cantata will take place. 

So that's what's going to be going on.  Whew!  So many activities; I don't know how I can possibly keep up!  I swear the members of my church must be part Energizer Bunny; I can't believe their energy levels!  They are so gung-ho about life, on fire for Jesus; they're absolutely amazing!!

Another thing I like about my church home is that they have a ministry for families of those who have children with special needs.  They have a big contigent of disabled people who regularly attend church (and I think most belong to one family! LOL).  That way, I don't feel so scared or alone; I know these people will love me, support me in any way they possibly can.

They have welcomed me, Kaysa, Kenny, and Korinne with love and friendship; they care deeply about what happens to us.  That makes me feel so blessed; I don't know how I could have gone on for this long if they hadn't picked me up when I needed it the most!

Korinne has settled in her new school; she already has made several new friends.  Kenny has adjusted as well; he has some new friends, too.  He goes to the daycare along with Kaysa.

It seems funny now, but I don't miss Louisiana.  Oh, sure I miss my family, but I don't miss the storms, the bugs, the heat/humidity!  Tennessee is much nicer; it's nice to feel the cold winter wind on your face, as well as actually see SNOW, which has been amazing!!

In Louisiana, I never saw snow excepting in pictures or on television; now, here in Tennessee, it's snowed several times.  The kids can't get enough of it, and neither can I!  I never knew snow could be so much fun!

Well, I have to go.  Have to get the kids up, ready for church.  I have to get myself ready too, so we can have breakfast, be out the door by eight thirty, which is a little over an hour from now.  I will write in here again; pray that things continue to look up for us!  We'd appreciate it!  Thanks!
