ANGEL IN THE NIGHT – A FANTASY

‘Twas a beautiful evening, her gown moving in the wind, as she lifted her arms upward, feeling the beauty of the night, and the freedom, away from her captivity. This fine angelic form, with long, flowing black hair, was finally free from having been locked away in the depths of Hell.

Yet, he, Satan, wanted her here. Inside him he felt an uncontrollable lust for her, as she passed. He was aroused by her beauty, and he wanted her for himself, though he knew the Lord God would rescue her. He knew not in what way he would be punished. The wind blew, and again, he watched the movement of her hair, as he had pondered what he had done, and whether he would be punished. Yes, he had become the Evil one, he knew, and so many millenium had passed before he was able to feel this way again. Oh, so many, many millenium! He had wanted her at first glimpse, for he knew her eons ago...

Despite the lapse of time long ago, he, the fallen archangel, was cast into Hell by the Lord God- What was the fallen angel thinking? He had everything and a woman who loved the Lord God. He thought she was HIS.  Ah, but that was then. How could he have let this happen? Could he not ask for mercy, and praise the Lord? No, not at this time, he simply could not, and he had been punished and banished from the heavens for all eternity.

And she, Bianca, had watched him go, knew well who she was, and she also knew what she believed. \ It had prevented any feelings for this creature, who, so very long ago, she had once loved. It was but a chance meeting... and in his lust for her, he impulsively pulled her down to Hades , despite her protests.

And now, as she was technically a ‘fallen angel’, but not for the punishment of God. Satan wanted her for himself. He never planned this meeting, or this capture, but in his sudden, intense feelings of lust, he imprisoned her inside of Hell, yet he kept her safe from the fires and pain. He still had his ambivalent feelings, wanting to be one of the Lord’s Angels, as he once had been, and now he wanted to  live with her, his fallen angel. Bianca, her name, meaning, "pure white", he kept repeating.

He went to her, trying to get her to stay with him, and she fought with all her strength, that he might  let her go. "Do you not know that My Lord will come for me, and you will remain here?" she asked him.

He spoke not to her, and he regretted having taken her. For a while, Satan was silent. Suddenly, he heard the word of the Lord.

"Lucifer! Lucifer ! You were cast into Hell, and the angel belongs in the Heavens!"  What have I done!", said Satan, to himself.A small voice said to him, "Lucifer, I am not yours. I am not a woman! I am an angel of the Lord.  And, you must allow me to return to my Father and my Lord!" , said the captive angel.

Satan removed her from her shackles, and within moments, he saw her walking away from him, never again to see the angel he once loved. And, he saw behind, on the ground, the empty shell  of the angel she once was, lying there... cast aside.

And she, the angel of the Lord looked to the Heavens, and never, ever turned back to see him. The winds lifted her into the clouds and she was again welcomed into the Heavens, and there was much rejoicing.

But then... this was all a part of Satan’s Eternal Punishment...
