“Look,” Lyn said, “I’m flattered that you think I’m attractive. Really. But I’m married, and not only am I married, I’m happily married. And I plan to stay that way. That’s what I have to tell him.”

“Let me talk to him first,” Julie said. “I think I can get him to understand. As I said earlier, just wish he was after me. It wouldn’t last, though. I’d be under the sheets too quick. I’d hear him saying ‘next’ as I skittered out the boudoir door.”

Both laughed.

“He is a dream,” Lyn said. “At least on the outside. I never said he wasn’t. But he’s somebody else’s dream.”

“If he continues bothering you after I talk to him, well, then you’ll have grounds for filing a complaint.”

“I hope it won’t come to that,” Lyn said. “I’m not exactly one to rock the company boat.”

“You don’t even paddle the company boat,” Julie said.

“Hey, you’re my sister-in-law!” Lyn said.

“Well, I never applied to be,” Julie said.

“We’d better get some sleep or we’ll both be late to work in the morning,” Lyn said. “Night.”

“Same. Love you,” Julie said and rang off.
