Slobo Trbanek has found solace in his sufferings by attending church for the past few weeks; he's come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ.

Hullo!  Slobo Trbanek here.

Sorry for not writing in long time; trying to come to terms with what's happened (flesh eating disease; still not 100 percent yet; gonna take time, doctors say), not working, and worrying about things.

I am not in much pain, not like I was one time; every day pain gets a little less.  Am able to eat now without getting sick, starting to gain needed weight.  Look like skeleton, I've gotten so skinny!

I now going to church, with mama.  Mama and I go to church every Sunday; we find nice church not far from where we live.  Big church, but love the people in it.  I find Jesus, preacher talk about salvation, how we need Jesus in our lives, and I decided to ask Jesus to come.

Now I'm different person; I suddenly find myself smiling, thanking Him for my blessings.  So I no longer have legs.  I still have my hands.  I still able to work (or will, when doctor says it's okay).  I still have my dear mama.  I have my friends, my neighbors, who watch out for me when I need it most.

I have my job.  For now.  Boss says I no fired; he says he misses me at the store.  I miss my work-friends, my boss, too.  They a great bunch of people!  :)

Many other people, they no work.  Economy (one of my new words I learn at English school!  :) ) in a bad way; gonna take miracle to turn it around.  All I can do is pray to my Jesus, ask Him to fix things, make things better for my America.

Well, I go now.  Time to get mama up, make breakfast.  I will write in here again soon; until then, this is Slobo saying bye-bye for now!  God bless you!

~Slobo Trbanek.  :)

Beautiful - Slobo's English is coming along, he's feeling better, he has friends and family, his job is waiting for him, and has accepted Christ. =] Good to see! Well done.
