Scott sat in his leather armchair absently watching the television and frequently glancing at the clock on the wall.She should have been there about an hour ago.Damn those planes and their lack of respect for schedules.
They had met three months earlier in an internet chat room and although they lived within 60 miles of each other, had never met, but had gotten to know each other intimately online.
Jessica had told him she did not want their first meeting to be in a crowded airport but that their first moments together should be in private.She was arriving home that night from a trip to London and was going to spend the first night at Scott’s place that was only about 20 miles from the airport.

“Yes we are.I am just so glad to see you at last my dear Jessica.”

He stepped outside, brought the bags in, and placed them on the floor.He took her coat and hung it on the hook by the door.
As he turned to face Jessica, Scott’s eyes viewed her from head to toe.
