Howdy!  It's your little friend, Kata Danae' Fishugh, in Grapevine, Texas, writing!  How are you?  I'm fine!

I have been busy.  If I am not singin' with my brothers Kentucky or Kasey or my sister Kaylie, I'm playin' with 'em (or my best friend, Rachel), going to kindergarten, learning my readin' and writin', and just being a happy little girl.

I had a cold last week, but I am feeling much better now.  Dr. Greenroy gave me some medicine, and it's helping me.  I got it from Kentucky; he had it first, then passed it on to Kaylie and then me.  Lucky Kasey didn't get it; I'm surprised!  Even mommy and daddy got it!

We got a new puppy, a shnozer (Kata meant "schnauzer") named Pickles.  He's sooo cute; he's a licker; loves to lick me to pieces, get my face all wet!   We also got a kitty, a cute furry one I named "Tommy".  She's cute, especially when she sneezes; it's funny to hear her! 

We love our new pets, but we kids have to clean up after them, or else we don't get to keep them.  The brushing isn't too bad, or the feeding, but I don't like cleanin' up after them when they poop or pee; that's gross!!

We still haven't heard anything from the Grapevine Opry, about whether we are going to sing there or not; they're being awfully slow about it!  I would love to get up on that stage and sing "Coal Miner's Daughter"; I do a very good Loretta Lynn!  :)

Well, we're going to get ready; we're going to Chuck E' Cheese's for lunch, then a movie, maybe even roller skating.  I hope so; I am getting bored from staying in because of all the rain we've had!
