Once a flame is kindled, it is difficult to extinguish.
Firedancer
It began deep within his heart, and raced outward through his being, spreading fast, consuming his every thought. Fire needs to know nothing of reason, it only knows fuel -- and these two matching hearts had struck a spark that quickly became an inferno. The quick kiss had lingered, become an embrace, then turned to passion.
Hungering flames nibbled at the center of their hearts, then swept through them, fanned by burning desire. Reason and doubt were consumed together, as hearts and arms entwined -- the pull of the flames sucking the very breath from their lungs as they gasped together between devouring kisses.
In the overwhelming heat, they shed their clothing, the cool air only a momentary respite. As they came together again, the silken touch further fanned the flames. Clinging together, their two fires became one. Cells broken down, mingling in the super-heated coals of radiant love. Liquid motion moved hot lava through their veins, and the shimmering waves of heat immersed them in an opaque haze.
Passion ruled, leaping all fire-breaks, and cresting in one thunderous, white-hot moment of glory. They burned together as a singular fireball, illuminating the night, then the fuel was spent, and the flames diminished, licking up the last bits of combustion before subsiding to embers nestled in the glowing hearth of entwined arms. With their heat still pulling a draft of soft caresses and sweet whispered love, it would be many hours before the sleep of cooling coals finally claimed them completely. They would nestle now, until the fire once again called them to dance.

"the pull of the flames sucking the very breath from their lungs as they gasped together between devouring kisses." This is an incredible description. The whole piece is brilliant actually, reminds me of the Dresden firestorms, more fun though, to be sure!
