Howdy!  Sparkle Diamond here!  Hope this finds y'all happy!  I am definitely that: happy.  Tomorrow is the last day of school for us; Monday starts summer vacation!  I canNOT wait!!

I have been doing well:  no new surgeries or hospital stays.  I pray that continues!  I have been having fun playing with Errol, Calvin, and Tasha (they're my brothers and sister), as well as "Lady Killa", our dog, and her puppies "Killa, Jr." and "Percival".  I thought once that "Killa" was a boy dog; turns out he was a she, so I had to change her name a little.  :P

I love it when Errol picks me up and spins me around like a top until I get dizzy.  That's fun!  I also love riding my bike, writing, dancing, reading, and especially singing!!  I want to be like Shirley Caeser or Patti LaBelle when I grow up, sing gospel music, become famous.  I love gospel music; I swear each time I hear it my heart is going to fly straight up to Heaven!

I am hoping to be in the third grade here at Pocatello Elementary.  Mrs. Dearborn, my teacher, says I am one of her best students; she says I am very smart!  She says not to worry so much about my grades because I am doing so well!  I hope that's true !

On July Fourth, I am going to go to my cousin Travis's house; my friends Eboni, Ree Ree, and Gabbie are coming with me (or that's the plan, anyway!).  We are going to see the parade, then go to the downtown area, where there'll be live music, games, rides for the kids, and at night, the best part, F I R E W O R K S!!!!  I love fireworks; they remind me of multicolored flowers!  They're cool!!

When I hear the patriotic music, I stand there on my crutches and dance.  I love dancing to the patriotic music!  And guess what!  I got some new braces that have stars and stripes, just like the American flag, and I am going to wear them on the Fourth of July!  I am going to look like a little American flag, what with all the red, white, and blue I'll be wearing!  I'll even have firework deely-boppers on my head!  :)  I am going to look soooo cool!  :)

Well, I am going to go.  I should be in bed; it's not even four o'clock here in Idaho.  If mama knew I was up, writing on the computer, she'd take my computer privileges away, just like that.  I'd be grounded for a million years!  I don't want that, so I am going to go back to bed and go off to dreamland!  So on that note, this is Sparkle Diamond saying bye bye!  Good night and God bless!  Love you!
