Big, luminous, speckled-blue eyes, as blue as a robin's egg.  Soft, silken, straight ash-blonde hair that has a tendency to fly every which way; it just won't stay combed.  A tiny snub for a nose, an ever smiling mouth, a face as round as a full moon.

These are but some of the endearing qualities that make up our six year old daughter, Molly Nicole, who has Down syndrome.  She may have disabilities; however, there's nothing she won't try, even if it means getting into trouble.  LOLOLOL

Molly is a very active little girl.  She loves to paint, draw, attempt to write her letters or numbers, sing, dance, any number of things.  She has a sparkly, megawatt personality that shows itself long before she appears.

My name is Grace Addington.  I live with my husband, Mort, and our children, Riley Mason (12), Fiona Leeann (10), Echo Milea (9), Molly Nicole (6), and Logan Bridge (4) in Kissammee, Florida.  My husband works at a car dealership; meanwhile, I am a stay at home mom as well as a homeschool instructor.  I stay very busy.

Molly only adds to it, what with her medical needs.  She's on supplimental oxygen (mainly at night), and she's had several surgeries done on her heart; she faces more in the future.  Even with all that she's been through in relation to her health, she is still a very outgoing, giggly person; we wouldn't have it any other way!

We get scared when her heart acts up; however, we know the Lord watches out over her; He's kept her safe this far; we pray it continues!

When we are at the hospital with Molly, our world stops.  Or at least mine does.  Then I have to  have my mom come up from Coral Gables and watch the other children while I spend all my time with Molly, until we make sure that she is going to be okay.

So far she's been tremendously helpful; we greatly appreciate this!  I just wish Molly didn't have to go through so much!  It's not fair that one little girl with physical/mental disabilities should have to endure so much heartache in her life!

Well, the baby (Logan) is crying that his sister Molly is annoying him again, so I'd better investigate before there's blood shed; it seems those two are always after one another!  I just don't know why they can't learn to get along with each other!  *sighhhh*  Until later, this is Grace Addington signing off; take care and God bless!  I will write in here again another day!
