Dear Journal~

Howdy!  Johnathon here.  A very sleepy Johnathon, I might add.  Didn't sleep worth a *Waaah* last night:  storms kept pounding our area; some reports of minor flooding reported.  Louisville, north of us in Kentucky, got rocked when a storm decided to park itself over it and it rained.  And rained.  And rained.  Needless to say, they got dumped on.  Flooding all over the place.  Thought we were going to get it too, but thank God the storms decided to migrate on out of here!

We did get over 5" of rain, and some of the lower lying areas of our city did have water standin' on the roads or in the yard; some areas it was hard to get through, due to all the water on the roads.  Our street got partially flooded, so mama, who worked last night, didn't get in until well past 11:00.  We were worried about her; we were never so glad when we saw her van pull up our driveway!

We may get it again Sunday; at least, for the time being, though, the rains have gone elsewhere; nothing but bright sunshine (and heat) for the next two days!  :)  Maybe I can catch up on lost sleep; I feel worse than something the cat dragged in!  *urggh*

In a few weeks, our family is going to Louisiana for the weekend.  We're going to the LeCajun Cajun Music Awards Show/Festival in Lafayette.  It's fun, but I'd enjoy it more if I could dance to all that wonderful Cajun music!  *sighhh*  At least I can eat; there's nothin' wrong with my eating habits!  I can pork away the food; maman says I eat like a horse!  LOL  And I do!  I'm an eatin' machine!  YUMMY!!

Next month, on the day after Labor Day, we start back to school for another year.  I will be a junior.  Hard to believe; it seems like only yesterday when I was ridin' the elementary kid's bus!  Now I'm one year away from graduating!  I just hope I make it to that point; I'd really love to be around to get my diploma!  And possibly go to college!

That'd be cool! :)

I'd like to go into meteorology, make weather forecasting a career.  Or maybe I can be a storm chaser!  :)

My girlfriend was in the hospital a few weeks ago, but it was just for precautionary purposes only.  She fell; her mama got scared, so she ended up in the hospital.  She was okay; only bruised her pride.  The doctors just wanted to make sure she didn't do anything; she didn't, thank goodness.  I just wonder how she can live without pain; I didn't realize pain insensitivty disorder could be so devastating, but it is!  She's been through so much in her life!

Last I heard, she was doing great, as was her family, and Kendra and her brood.  Kendra is adopting two kids from Africa, like they need any more kids!  LOL  (KIDDING!)

I was supposed to have gone to my MDA camp this year, but I didn't because of the recent swine flu outbreak.  The MDA cancelled all camps.  I can understand their reasoning, seeing people who have neuromuscular diseases have such poor immune systems; they didn't want to risk anyone getting sick, so no camp this year.  Bummer!  I was really looking forward to going!  Now I have to wait another blasted year!  GRRR!!!!

Healthwise, I haven't had any real problems for quite a while  now.  Hope it lasts; I've been praying like thunder for God to let me live at least until after I graduate from high school or get married!  Or see Jesus coming back (whichever happens first)!  My MD is still holding out, although it's getting harder and harder for me to do things; I need a lot of help, and it's getting to be a royal pain in my you-know-where!!  Booo!!!!

I had to laugh in a way:  my sister Ronee' got disqualified.  She was supposed to have gone to her auditon for AGT last week in Las Vegas; she got sick, so they booted her out.  I am sorry she didn't make it, but I'm kind it glad it happened; that way she got some of her thunder quieted.  She was gettin' a bit heady, all divafied; this brought her back to earth, and now she's much easier to live with.  LOL

Now she's thinkin' of trying out for "American Idol" when they have auditions next month.  Oh, Lord, here we go again.... *sighhh*

Well, I'm gettin' sleepy again, so I'm going to kill the computer, shut'er down, and go back to sleep, where I don't plan on rising before two.  If my parents attempt to do so, get me outta bed before that time, they might have a ragin' tiger on their hands!  It ain't gonna be pretty if they try to mess with the Johnster!  Or Johnster might turn into a Monster!!  RAWWWRRRR!!  LOL  I will write in here again another time; until then, this is Johnathon saying over and out!  So long!

~Love, your friend, Johnathon.  :0 *RAWWWWRRR!!!!*

Jonathon seems happy for the most part, but perhaps a little jealous over Ronee!

We do, too, Johnnie, and very glad to hear you didn't get flooded - poor Louisville, indeed.
