WORLD THINKING DAY

In case you hadn't heard, the Girl Scouts of America proclaimed February 18, 2009 as World Thinking Day.  I’m not sure if this will be an annual event.  I suppose it depends on how it affects cookie sales.  But apparently, they thought that there wasn't enough thinking going on in the world and I couldn't have agreed more.

Now they didn't actually specify what I was supposed to be thinking about, so I guess it was just a free style, "do as you please" type exercise.

It occurred to me that a lot of people think about things and come up with the wrong conclusion, and the fact that they thought about it for a long time makes them all the more certain about the end result of their misguided imbecility.

So, I sat down and thought about it for a minute or two, decided it was all in vain, and went on about the business of cleaning out my cat's litter box.
