The day was a sad when the day the Skipper died , they buried him next to the wreck of the S,S. Minnow ,even Mary Ann and her new baby were there to ay goodbye , as everybody left Gilligan stay he stood just before the grave of his best friend and bowed his head in silence .He cried .

' I promise Skipper one day I'll get everyone rescue and with your'd own permission I want too call our son Jonas after the bravest man I knew .' he said ' I'd miss you Skipper.' He knelt down and placed his hat on the Skipper's grave ,said a silent prayer and returned to the others .He took his time getting back .

' I'm sorry Gilligan,' said Mary Ann as she was with Ginger and also too Wednesday when he'd returned .' May we be alone ? ' he asked Ginger and Wednesday as they walk out of their hut .He slightly smiled towards Wednesday . And she nodded and smiled back .

' You like her Gilligan ? '

' Yes Mary Ann, but as a very special friend ,she can never replace you , no one could , I need to ask you a favor ? ' he asked her as he held their baby cradling him .

' I want to call him Jonas , after the Skipper and I made the Skipper one promise , getting everybody off this island no matter what and let Ginger and Wednesday have this one I'd want too us too live in the hut me and Skipper had , I want to ask you another question .'

' Go ahead Gilligan you don't have to keep asking me .' she said .

' On this one I do ,' he gave her the baby looked to see if Wednesday and Ginger were watching ,he grabbed her hand and smiling looking at her . Wednesday and Ginger looked at him ,smiling .

' Will you marry me ? ' he asked .
