Spock did go back in time but as he thought he saw the image of that snake and thought of the mythology of the human race's own Devil or Satan he did not know why it would upset him so .Then he'd saw why Spock was standing before the Devil himself in his domain he saw all the horrors he had created through the humans and even Spock was horrified .He understood now their fears and why .

Spock even saw the destruction of his homeworld .

The thing that Spock was more curious about was how he look so much like a Vulcan .Spock raised an eyebrow and approached Satan he tried too control his temper or anger but seeing the destruction and meyham in fact Spock could not help himself .

' I'am Spock .'

' No need for introductions son of Sarek I know who you are .' Spock too nodded and stood where he was .He knew who he was .

' I too know who you are ,' Spock told him .
