Dear Journal~
Now that I've done my Bible calesthenics and spent time in my prayer closet, I can continue. I've been up since four thirty; I'm ready and rarin' to go!
Pastor Tim here. I am sitting here in the early-morning darkness; Corinna, my wife, snores gently in her bed, and P.J., our youngest child, is lying at the foot of the bed, sprawled out haphazardly. I am assuming that Cambree, our other child, is still in her bed; I don't hear anything from her room.
The kids don't have school today: doctor's appointments. P.J.'s is at 10 with his nose/ear/throat doctor, and Cam's is at 1:30 with her allergy doctor. Hopefully they will do well; I pray that they get a good report from their doctors.
Church is going very well. I am most pleased to be a part of Christ Community Assembly of God. I am learning new names every day; pretty soon, at the rate I'm going, all of those faces I see on Sunday will have a name attached to them. Learning my way around the building; not getting lost as often. LOL
The children are always so eager to learn about God and the other denizens of the Bible. It is refreshing to see!
Remember the last time I wrote when I said I was preaching? It went surprisingly well; I was nervous at first; however, as I went along, it got much easier. It soon felt like I was talking to a sanctuary full of old friends instead of congregants. The people seemed to like my message; maybe I'll be asked to preach again.
Hope so!
The annual presentation of HGHF is this weekend. We expect record crowds (and hopefully a lot of salvations). I have heard so much about it, but haven't seen it until now. Should be an exciting time in ministry for all!
I know I am looking forward to it! I've seen snippets of it in videos, but never in real life. Should be interesting!
I have to go now. Phone's ringing; better get it before the jangling from the other room wakes my family up and chaos ensues! Take care; may God bless you as much as He's been blessing me lately! I am a very blessed man, and I am very grateful!
~Pastor Tim. :) (The kids call me "The Crazy Cajun". LOL)
