Gilligan could not believe where he was and had he stayed back with the others he'd would have been rescued though believing it was his fault the Skipper did not leave he wanted to stay and hope Gilligan too would return .The others went but Mary Ann stayed she to hope that he would return also .

On the Flying Dutchmen Gilligan had no way of knowing how too return he became part of the crew .Ginger and the Professor ,the Howells too return to civilization while the Skipper died on the island trying too save Mary Ann, her son grew up on the island and in time he did too  return too civilization but he liked the island instead and returned there to live out the rest of his life .

Upon investigating the island more Gilligan William Wells discovered a cave and a book .The book was written by his father before he'd left and he started to read it by a campfire he made .

' I miss you dad .'
