The sound of silence was scary at times, the rain had already had come down and more was expected after the eye would pass and my sister in fact was cuddle up besides me as I was watching the weather reports .

' I'm scared I'm afraid we won't see mommy again .' I reassured her our mom would be alright then suddenly the storms pick up again and we held onto each other .I looked at her and began to sing a song mom in would sing to her at night . That calmed her down, and then too there was another sound as my mom's car pulled into our driveway she got out of the car and hurried inside the house .She carried a box a small one .It was red and I saw a strawberry painted on it ,my sister loved to eat strawberries they always calmed her down .

' There you go sweetheart your strawberries that should calm you down, how was she ? ' she'd asked me .She looked at both of us making sure we were alright and we smiled reassuring her we had been .

' Fine I was here  and just like you said you'd have too have faith there's nothing you shouldn't fear .' he smiled as we all sat down, outside the hurricane had continue , inside we sat together watching the weather reports had come in .We were together and that was all that did in fact mattered .Being together as a family we were stronger then without  .

( If you have faith you can do anything and fear will not harm you believe in your heart and soul and everything will be alright ) .
